I ate lunch at Oceans 234 located at 234 North Ocean Boulevard, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. The inside had high ceilings, cool chandeliers and was blue and white like the ocean. My mom and I ate outside on the patio. It had a beautiful ocean view and the ceiling fans kept us cool. The service was great, our waitress was Nicole. I had the sushi special, which was about ten pieces of sushi. It was made with eel, soft shell crab, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese. It was wrapped in seaweed and rice with eel sauce on top. It was served with wasabi, ginger, extra eel sauce and soy sauce. This was my first time eating sushi, and it was delicious. The eel tasted like chicken, the eel sauce was sweet and tasted like tea a little bit. The cream cheese and avocado were creamy, the crab was nice and tender. At the end of our meal, I got to meet the general manager, Tommy Mirisola, and the executive chef, Victor Franco. They gave me a tour of the kitchen. It was like my school kitchen, but shinier. After lunch, my mom and I took a nice walk on the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier. I had an awesome afternoon and I can't wait to go back, I give Oceans 234 5 sporks up!
Hi I'm Ellie. I'm 10 years old and in 5th grade. I love food so much that I decided to follow in my brother Wyatt's footsteps and become a food critic to share my honest opinion on food.
My brother Wyatt the former kid food critic
My brother Wyatt started this awesome blog back in 2012 when he was just 10 years old and in 4th grade. Over the next three years, he became the #1 kid food critic in the United States. In 2015, he was 13 years old and in 7th grade. He decided he was not the "kid" food critic anymore and it was time to retire.
My Spork Rating System
I use sporks to rate the food I eat. Five is the best, one is the worst.

This is my brother, Wyatt's, business card. Until I get my own, I still like to leave one on the table every time I visit a restaurant I review.
Wyatt taste tested some high end Halloween candy for the October 2013 digital issue of the luxury lifestyle magazine DuJour. It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!
Wyatt's 1st radio interview was on the South Florida Eat & Critique Radio Show. Listen to the 9-14-13 broadcast, about 15 minutes in, on the first half.
