Flanigan's Piranha Pat's, Pompano Beach & My First Interview!

I ate lunch at Flanigan's Piranha Pat's Seafood Bar and Grill, located at 2500 E. Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. The inside was a tropical sports restaurant with mounted fish along the top of every wall, surfboards hanging from the ceiling and lots of TVs. It kind of reminded me of Miller's Ale House. Our waiter was Brian. He was sort of slow, but friendly. I had the big daddy burger, which was a 10 ounce burger with two slices of American cheese and lettuce, with dirty rice on the side, $8.79. The burger was big, juicy and mouthwatering. I really liked their BBQ sauce and I put it on my burger to make it even better. The dirty rice came out a little cold, but it wasn't too bad. For dessert, I had a slice of chocolate ecstasy cake, $4.99. It came out topped with chocolate sauce. It was huge, moist, super chocolaty and delicious. It was so big, I couldn't finish the whole thing and I took the rest home in a doggy bag. I had fun and I give Flanigan's 4 1/2 sporks up!

My Flanigan's review was very special. It was also my very first interview! I was interviewed by food blogger Jess Swanson and her videographer Kate Maier, from Clean Plate Charlie. They were both very nice and seemed really interested in me and my blog. They asked me a lot of questions, like how I got into blogging, what were my favorite restaurants and food and things like that. I didn't know what to expect, but I ended up having a really good time. I give Jess and Kate 5 sporks up!
