On Tuesday, July 10, 2012, I ate dinner at the Pilot House located at 13 Seagate Boulevard,Key Largo, Florida 33037. The service was great and friendly, our waitress was Michelle. The restaurant was on the water and had a glass bottom bar, which wasn't very good. It had too much glare, and was too high above the water. I think it would be better at night when it is lit up. We sat outside, right on the water. For an appetizer, we had conch fritters, $10.95. There were only four of them. They were a little bit soft on the outside, but still tasted good. I ordered the blackened mahi basket with fries and a water to drink, $10.95. The fish was very delicious and flavorful. The fries were crunchy. We had a coupon for one slice of free key lime pie. It had an OK creamy flavor, but didn't taste much like key lime pie. But, I can't complain too much about free pie. If you want good and tangy key lime pie, check out my key lime pie recipe! After we were done eating we got to feed the fish (and the birds) right from our table and that was pretty neat. I give the Pilot House 5 sporks up!
Hi I'm Ellie. I'm 10 years old and in 5th grade. I love food so much that I decided to follow in my brother Wyatt's footsteps and become a food critic to share my honest opinion on food.
My brother Wyatt the former kid food critic
My brother Wyatt started this awesome blog back in 2012 when he was just 10 years old and in 4th grade. Over the next three years, he became the #1 kid food critic in the United States. In 2015, he was 13 years old and in 7th grade. He decided he was not the "kid" food critic anymore and it was time to retire.
My Spork Rating System
I use sporks to rate the food I eat. Five is the best, one is the worst.

This is my brother, Wyatt's, business card. Until I get my own, I still like to leave one on the table every time I visit a restaurant I review.
Wyatt taste tested some high end Halloween candy for the October 2013 digital issue of the luxury lifestyle magazine DuJour. It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!
Wyatt's 1st radio interview was on the South Florida Eat & Critique Radio Show. Listen to the 9-14-13 broadcast, about 15 minutes in, on the first half.
