On Sunday, May 20, 2012, I ate lunch at the Shane's Rib Shack located at 2240 NW 19th Street, Boca Raton, Florida 33431. The restaurant is kind of a country sports bar, with many TVs. The service was good and friendly. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken tenders tossed in hot buffalo sauce with French fries and a Dr. Pepper to drink. It took about 10 minutes for the food to get to our table. The tenders looked like they would make your stomach explode with spice if you ate them! They were really red and dripping with sauce. The chicken had a good flavor, but wasn't spicy at all to me! I told the waitress, and she gave me jalapeno vinegar and Texas Pete hot sauce, but it still wasn't spicy enough for me. I guess I'm "too hot" for Shane's Rib Shack! I give it 4 1/2 sporks up, I would have given 5 sporks up if the chicken was spicier!
The menu up on the wall.
The BBQ sauces. Yummy. The are pretty good and all taste similar except for the mustard sauce. I didn't use them on my chicken, but I did try them on my fries.
My name is Wyatt. I'm 13 years old, in 7th grade and I like food. I like it so much, I decided to be a food critic. With parental supervision, I started this awesome blog to give you my honest opinion on food.
My Spork Rating System
I use sporks to rate the food I eat. Five is the best, one is the worst.
